WBros Michael Crick and Malcolm Cheeseman, Charity Steward and Secretary respectively of Gore Court Lodge No.8231, presented a £250 cheque to Mrs Denise Adams, Area Representative of the Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).

This small national charity was set up 20 years ago to support those affected with SMA and to help fund research into both management and cure. Support had also been obtained from The Grand Charity under the Matchfunding scheme. In reply, Mrs Adams thanked the Lodge for its previous support and The Grand Charity for the additional amount. Also present at the presentation was Aiden, one of the local children helped by the Trust and his mother Kerry, who added her thanks to The Grand Charity and praised the Trust for all the support and advice the family had received.
