£1200 was presented to the Kent Air Ambulance Trust by the Garden of England Lodge No.6583 which meets at the Maidstone Masonic Centre. WBro Alan Francis who is a Past Master of the Harlow based Almaston Lodge 4455, was the delighted representative receiving the cheque on behalf of Kent Air Ambulance.

WBro Francis gave a clear and informative talk about the work of the service, and its high running costs, most of which has to be covered from their own fundraising efforts, and from donations from organisations such as ours.

The money, which had been raised from a combination of personal donations from Lodge members, and from a very successful ladies festival held at Maidstone's Russell Hotel, was presented by WBro Steve Jackson.
