  PRINCE EDWIN MARCHES ON HYTHE

The bi-annual Hythe Festival is a popular July affair packed with fun and cultural events, and this year a contingent from Prince Edwin’s Lodge No.125 wearing their Masonic collars and breast jewels, joined in the morning parade through the town. They were well received by the crowd lining the route, although not certain if the rousing cheers were for them, the lone Scots piper who led them, or the Belly Dancers following behind!

Afterwards, an information tent was set up on The Green from which people were directed to the Masonic Hall. There, they received tours of the Temple from Brethren in full regalia, followed by tea and biscuits.

Members were pleased to receive an informal visit from the Right Worshipful the Provincial Grand Master, Michael Bailey and his wife Sandra, both of whom spent time greeting visitors and chatting to the Brethren and their wives.
