Earlier this year Allington Lodge No.7086 members approved three charity donations. Subsequently a sum of £250 was sent to the Royal Engineers Benevolent Association of the Maidstone and Medway Area by our Charity Steward, WBro Bob Attwood.

On 14th February 2006 WBro Brian Richardson and WBro George White visited Pembroke House, Gillingham, to meet staff and residents of the Royal Naval Benevolent Trust where a donation of £250 was made to Carole Davis, the Trust’ resident Registered Home Manager.

Following the successful Lodge ladies Evening in March, the Worshipful Master’s lady, Mrs Thelma Richardson decided to donate the proceeds of the evening to Kent Air Ambulance Trust, whose headquarters are in Marden, just south of Maidstone.

A cheque for £600 was sent to the Trust, by Festival Committee member WBro Peter Delo, and they, in their acknowledgement, sent a certificate showing the crew by the side of a Trust helicopter.
