| WBro’s Ilott & Gray |
WBro David Gray is the Senior Warden of
the Valley of Elham Lodge No.6649, and had the misfortune
to be admitted to Ashford’s William Harvey hospital
with heart and lung problems. Following a protracted period
of investigation he was transferred to Guys hospital in London,
where he spent 5 days in isolation to ensure he had not brought
anything nasty from Kent, after which he was transferred to
an open ward.
Imagine his surprise when he learned that the
Lodge Almoner WBro Charlie Ilott PGStB was arriving the following
day to occupy the adjacent bed having been referred by the
Kent & Canterbury Hospital for his own problems. WBro
Ilott has a reputation for taking his duties very seriously,
but moving into hospital with a sick brother is excessive
even by his standards. We wish them both a speedy recovery.
