WBro Dennis Larder, the Worshipful Master of Loyal and True Lodge No.4050, and his lady Ruby donated the £908 proceeds of their ladies festival to Demelza House Children's Hospice. £272 raised at the Lodge of Instruction Supper was added to it, and the Chatham Masonic Trust contributed a further £100, totalling £1280. The cheque was received on behalf of the hospice by Mrs Wells, and presented by WBro Larder and his Lady, accompanied by WBro Ian Thorburn with his wife Mayna, and WBro Len Sharp.
