The Stanley Wykeham Lodge No.6599 of Paddock Wood raised a magnificent £1,500 at its Ladies Festival held at the Hop Farm Country Park in March. Mr Clive Emson, a Bearsted based businessman who was a guest and great friend of the Worshipful Master, very generously matched that figure with a wonderful personal donation of £1,500.

The resultant £3,000 was used to purchase a horse which is shown being presented to Jo Fletcher of the Leybourne Grange Riding School for the Disabled by Mr Emson, accompanied by the Worshipful Master
