The fifteenth June 2006 saw VWBro Frank Holding, open the Centenary Meeting of the Manor of Chatham Mark Lodge. It is some years since the Mark Province has celebrated a Lodge Centenary and indeed it will be some years before there will be another such celebration. Understandably the Manor of Chatham members decided to celebrate in style.

In addition to the Lodge Secretary, WBro Ivan Smith, compiling a most interesting short history of the Lodge, the members also decided to dedicate a Lodge Banner. But not content with that, they also decided the new Lodge Banner should be dedicated in the presence of their wives and partners. This was unprecedented in the Mark Province and understandably there was a significant attendance to see this. The Provincial Chaplain, WBro John Sylvester delivered a most excellent oration, as usual. Inevitably the event proved a great success and was greatly enjoyed by everyone fortunate to be present.
