On 31 August 2006 the new Board of Provincial Grand Stewards was constituted at the Maidstone Masonic Centre, consisting of of WBros Tom Sutton Chairman, David Barden Treasurer and Anthony Lucas Secretary, together with WBros Andrew Spiers, David Cocks, Roger Pettit, Ralph Craig, Stephen Davis, Peter Chun, Philip Martin and Mark Richards. The function of the Board is to arrange the Provincial Summer Ball which is to be held on Saturday 23rd June 2007 at the Winter Gardens, Margate.

In the tradition now well established, the incoming Board was treated to an excellent dinner by the outgoing Board. The dinner was held in the presence of the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Michael Bailey, who was presented by the outgoing Board with a cheque for just under £16,000 in aid of his Discretionary Fund.

The Provincial Grand Master thanked the previous Board for their sterling contribution and congratulated them on providing the Province with a splendid, warm and well organised Ball. There is no doubt that the new Board will rise to the challenge facing them and provide us all with a superb Summer Ball in 2007.
