  Calling All Anglers

WBro Tim Pierpoint of the Nore Command Lodge No. 9199 has made a unique and very special offer to all East Kent Freemasons and their families and friends who enjoy a spot of freshwater fishing.

Tim and his family own two excellent fishing lakes on the Isle of Sheppey, and he wrote to us as follows: “Please find enclosed a selection of photographs of our two fishing ponds/lakes, covering approximately two acres, which are situated in the Halfway area of Sheppey on our family’s land. They are well stocked with carp up to 15lbs, together with a selection of sizeable bream, perch and chubb and many smaller roach and rudd for the younger angler. The ponds are not open to the public as they form part of my family’s private gardens, but we are however, happy to accommodate any East Kent Freemasons, along with their families and friends for a £10 per person per day donation to the Building Fund at the United Masonic Club, Sheerness. There are sufficient swims around the lakes for about 20 anglers, and I must stress that as these waters are not regularly fished, they will provide excellent sport for the novice and expert angler alike.” Prior booking is essential, by telephoning WBro Pierpoint at his office on 01795 668266 or his mobile telephone 07932 112322.
